Oh dear Reggie

First off, hats off to Angie ball for rectifying that colossal mistake he made ta Fulham in trusting those deadwoods, and rejigging the side to play Sonny through the middle.

Sonny play on the shoulders of defenders - something every CB hates, rather unlike Richy, he has his back to them which is easier t defend against.

Perfect Sonny, and he was in the swing of it all very quickly like duck to water.

How the media billed the game as Kompany masterclass before the ball was kicked and then retracted swiftly to hail the ANgie ball

Nice! The media darling Kompany bemoaned the fact that his side only played 45mins. Mate, your team didn't even do that! other than the first 20mins, it was only ever about Angie ball.

Anyway, today sees the title "challengers" as hailed by the media, i.e. Arsenal and Utd, go toe to toe.

I fear for Reggie. He may need new shorts after facing Saka. It will be decided on this battle. United with their new midfield ABC, Amrabat, Bruno and Caasemiro. With Partey allegedly missing with injury, this one is hard to call tbh.

I feel Utd have a very good chance today to get something ouf this game, but when you look at Utd, they have amassed a few points by virtue of VAR and decisions going for them. never conclusively have they beaten their opposition.

I feel Sky have chosen the game on the populism factor, but will this game live up to the hype?

Who do we want to win?

A thrashing of Arsenal could help us when we meet them. It might knock back their cockyness and confidence a bit.

As the heavy schedule months are coming soon, those with extra commitments will start bemoaning their extra games. Spurs should be poised to take advantage.

I think Ange has had a penny dropped moment now. Play sonny through the middle. Sonny loves running at defenders and scoring goals. This gives him that chance. None of the defensive chores of playing on the wing and tracking back.

Love the way Ange is not afraid to tweaks things and ensure players are comfortable with their duties with, and without the ball.

Early days to make bold claims. If we get top half, we would have shut the legendary Arsenal Paul Merson who claimed "Spurs? they will struggle, and I mean struggle to make the top half"

My pleasure mate.

Think Woolwich will batter Utd today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If they do batter Utd, where would that leave ETH?

Played us and lost, and then play the other N London side and lose?

I fear some sections of Utd fans will be baying for ETH blood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who cares about ETH? Think Utd fans have got bigger problems with the Glaziers refusing to sell. Oh well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure if they lose today there will be even more uproar if they lose to a team they consider a rival?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, at least with Glaziers as owners, they constantly invested in the team...Unlike ENIC]
Be careful of what you wish for!

Glazers take 10s of millions from the club/fans in dividends every year and the club spend 10s of millions on debt foisted on them by the Glazers purchase of Utd.

You literally have no idea about ownership if you think Utd are doing a better job than Spurs owners.

Utd have a net spend of £610m compared to £445m of Spurs over the last 5 years.

Even if Utd didn't have to service their debt they would still outspend every club bar Chelsea.

They are on another level. They just make bad recruitment choices time and time again.

Arsena will beat them today - United had a terrible window and a further body blow today with the Glazers news.

I can’t see what ETH is building there at all, they are just a mish mash of players.

Arsenal will probably be cruising only for Arteta to make a weird decision that gets United back into it - but I think Arsenal still hold on for the win

I think Newcastle are proving that a change of ownership isn't a guarantee of success.

You literally live in cloud coucou land dude

Levy takes home the most out of all the chairmen and that's looking at in proportions to his achievements at the club 1 Trophy in 20 odd years is ridicolous!

The Glaziers can how trophies in their reign at the club. That's what fans want. They don't eant bean counters come on here argue chairman's case when this chairman has practically detroyed the clubs chances to win anything, once by not backing Poch at the height of his reign, and then sacking Jose 6 days before a cup final.

Yeah I know which owner I'd rather have and it ain't bean counter cheapskate

No, but now they operate in higher circles of the league though...That excites fans

They just have to ensure they get a trophy during the heights of success...Unlike Spurs sadly

The height of Newcastle's success was the 1950s, when they won three FA cups in five years.
