It was both our friend and our enemy today.
Took away a penalty for Arsenal that could have been awarded on another day. But it also took away a potential winner for us that could have stood on another day as well.
I must say , the first replay of that Garnacho goal looked well onside but miraculously the second replay ( from the same angle but zoomed in ) he looked like somehow they moved him a few inches forward
I'm not too convinced that shady activities don't happen in that VAR booth ... Just saying.

Refs don’t give pens for being wrestled down in the area anyway these days

The offside is offside, if you have problems with the rule that's fair enough but as the rule is it's off. Both pen shouts were soft but I think if you wanna be consistent you either give both or don't give either.

Mate, Hojlund fouls Gabriel for their 'shout'.

Where exactly?

Think you need to go to Specsavers along with the refs. Clear as day foul.

Yep, clear as day that Hojlund fouls Gabriel indeed.

1) Take your own advice and visit the opticians
2) Watch closely, Hojlund puts his arm and weight down on top of Gabriel's
3) Then wraps his arm around to pull him down
You can't just bulldoze players out of the way.
All Hojlund did when he came on the pitch was foul Gabriel, exactly the same way Haaland does. Falling all over the defenders with all their body weight then trying to pull them down out of site.
Unfortunately Haaland is still getting away with it and it looks like Hojlund will too.

Oh I might add, he's kicked the ball so far away from himself as well that he's no longer in possession of it. As he's not fast enough to get round Gabriel and catch up to it he chooses to try wrestle him instead in order to try and con the ref into giving him a penalty.
Pretty obvious if you have ever played.

Find it a bit odd that United fans are praising Hojlunds physical approach and "bullying" Gabriel but then claiming it was a penalty. Hojlunds first action was to grab and barge Gabriel with no free-kick yet we are told outside the box that is given
Seems United fans want it both ways to me.

It wasn't even close to a penalty. If anything it was an Arsenal freekick.
