Great result for us but it could have been a very different result had certain decisions gone the other way.
It would be interesting to hear Anthony Taylor's explanation as to why he thought it wasn't a penalty against Haverts. He was on the spot when he gave it then suddenly changed his mind after seeing it again.
Haverts was clean through and had no reason to go down, so presumably Taylor thinks it was a dive? and if so why wasn't Haverts carded then...
Some of the decisions made by Refs and Var this season have been baffling to say the least.
Anyway luckily we got the 3 points. Hopefully Arteta can sort out the Haverts situation in the international break.
Good win in a game of small margins

Utd still couldn't beat an Arsenal that haven't really clicked yet this season. They will eventually once Arteta plays a more conventional back 4 and midfield.
The fact that Utd fans take yesterday as progress is worrying for them.

Well when Saka deserves a straight red card early in the game and nothing. Man Utd denied a stonewall penalty and a good goal and Arsenal score 2nd goal from a clear foul and that foul actually was the reason a goal was scored tells you what you need to know.
Its crazy how many pens we get denied against Arsenal and red cards Arsenal get away with. Lokonga smashed Fernandes and Jesus did same with Martinez first half at OT last season, both red cards and nothing.

Hafi really cannot stand losing to arsenal

Only weak club/fan mentality play the victim card. We had plenty of that when Wenger started to lose interest.

It happens every game against Arsenal. Arsenal great record at the Emirates against Man Utd is due to corrupt officiating. Remember Emery won 2-0 and Arsenal got a penalty for a clear dive.

Hafi. You are so one dimensional and delusional. Your lot had the rub of the green under Fergie. Remember Rooney cheating for a penalty to end our unbeaten run at the toilet. Nistelrooy raking his studs down Cole. Nevilles and Scholes attacking Reges. So many more instances of thuggery which you care to forget or maybe you weren't even born. Face it mate united are paying now for the years of fear under Fergie and frankly the rest of the leagues fans are living it. Erik Ten HAG is an LVG lite.

I remember Adebayor scoring with his hand at OT in 2008. Next year Man Utd denied stonewall penalty in CL semi-final at OT and next game after we score a 4 yard onside goal on the day we win the title after we draw 0-0. Linesman disallowed a goal miles onside. Darren Fletcher straight red card and pen for winning the ball in CL semi-final. The 2 teams we get cheated the most against is Spurs and Arsenal so maybe it is some london bias or something.
Remember under Mourinho we draw 1-1 at OT after I believe Valencia rugby fouled in the box. Last season at OT Lokonga and Jesus should have been sent off and ex refs said if they had seen it they would have been sent off all in the first half and Arsenal fans cry victim after Eriksen is pushed and kicked from behind stopping a Man Utd dangerous counter attack and clear yellow card ignored for Arsenal just like yesterday when Havertz did a clear dive.
Saka can do a 2 foot lunge studs showing and connecting on Fernandes but same ref denies us 3 clear penaltied against Southampton and sends Casemiro off for a one foot challenge that hits the ball as it is supposedly dangerous to slide tackle and win the ball.

SAF used to have his teams win 1-0 in 08-09 after scoring 3 or 4 goals. We actually beat Chelsea 3-0 that season but scored 5 goals.😂 SAF did miracles really. 11/12 Aguero moment is only famous after officials denied Stoke City a winner against Man City disallowed a Newcastle United goal for no reason meanwhile Man Utd denied stonewall penalty at Wigan and Wigan score from a corner no Wigan player or fan even claimed lol but they gave it and they scored just like yesterday. Last season away to Brighton they get a penalty from a freekick and corner that never was. Same game Brighton take our player out from behind edge of the box is no freekick but minutes later a freekick for no challenge by a Man Utd player.
Its now ridiculous. Honestly losing 30 points a season due to these corrupt officials. I don’t know if refs are racist against Garnacho or something as it seems to be always him involved. Last season before Garnacho scored a last minute winnee at Fulham he got cleaned out and no pen. McTominay cleaned out away to Palace and no pen and they give a freekick for nothing and Palace score from it.
When VAR came Greenwood lamped in box and no penalty away to Southampton. 2 straight red card fouls ignored and Man Utd draw. Reverse game at OT Romeu 2 feet lunge at Greenwood and no red card and we drop points again. Palace game apparently Cahill doing a professional foul is no red card as it is early in the game and then Martial and I believe Rashford didn’t get penalties as ref was reviewing no penalty incidents instead of the rugby fouls and Man Utd lose 3 points.
Sheffield United win at OT score an illegal goal and Man Utd have perfect goal disallowed. Chelsea away clear pen denied. West Brom away Lindelof had his eyes gauged and goal given lol.

Everton 1-1 draw De Gea elbowed in the face and Everton create no chances in the game and draw due to a foul. There best chance was created by elbowing our goalkeeper which leads to own goal. Goal given as it is allowed. Remember when Auba scored after being flagged but why flag and put our defenders off. Same game ref denies us a clear penalty. Man Utd denied clear pen that game as well.
