Dominik Szoboszlai

Just been rewatching the full match.
Szoboszlai (that’s too hard to type - I’m calling him Sausages from now on cos he scored a banger ) looks proper class. Full of energy and movement. Technically and tactically really good too.

Also really like the look of Notgary. Had a great game I thought.

He's got the work rate of someone like Hendo but much better end product... going to be massive for us.

I think he won our lactic acid test so shows how fit he is.

Szob deserves credit but I think I enjoyed Gomez and Matip coming back into form as much as anything else

Supposedly Newcastle wanted him as well, but luckily we got in ahead of them.

Also early days still but looks like Kash was spot on about Mount not being up to the standard for us.

Agreed, Gomez was outstanding throughout yesterday. Always on the front foot and aggressive. It was so good to see.

You get players like gomez who are so reliant on confidence. When hes confident hes immense. When his confidence takes a knock his levels dip dramatically.

As far as Szob goes, guy looks a rolls royce of a player. He never stopped yesterday. Its early days but if he keeps this up he'll fast become 1 of the best in the league.

I wanted him so badly instead of Havertz. Criminal that we opted for the latter, who was slightly more expensive and a ridiculous risk to take, too.

Szoboszlai is an excellent player though. I'm jealous.

Anfield legend in the making for sure. To dominate the way he does in games at 22 is pretty impressive.

Looks a fantastic player, came out of nowhere too.
