Given your owner's actions so far, how long has Poch got before he has to turn this around, Xmas?

Poch is from the Bielsa school of small squads to create maximum unity, it’s an integral part of his philosophy. The size of Chelsea’s squad will be pizzing him off and is probably the main barrier toward him making progress. The ownership need to get on board with the philosophy of the man they’ve chosen as manager by changing their absurd approach to the transfer market.

Think Chelsea and PSG were bad choices for Poch after the Spurs gig. As you say, he is all about building squad unity which is difficult to do when you are bringing in 10 and losing 10 every transfer window.
He'd be more at home at somewhere like Brighton or even Liverpool who only generally spend what they can generate and tend to have more of a team spirit and connection with the fans than the spend big worry later structure of clubs like Chelsea and PSG.

Thought this should be revisited after Sunday. It was a pretty dire game, as cup finals between big teams usually are, but Chelsea had a real chance against pretty much Liverpool reserves and seemed overawed by the occasion and didn't really have a go.
No clear style of play and players you have bought are on really long contracts so if they fail won't want to leave. Is this on Poch? I mean the bloke did well at Spurs but without winning a bean but surely Chelsea expect more - especially with your outlay?
Poch seems a decent fella and the Spurs lads seemed to like him so perhaps he has inherited a bad group and needs his own players to really get them playing how he wants.
Will he be given enough time to do this and, if so, does he deserve more patience and money to reinvest or should Chels just give him the old Spanish archer - thoughts?

The common theme amongst Chelsea fans from what I've heard is that he's turned Chelsea into Spurs and I can't disagree.
Extra time is when he should've shown his mettle. From what he said, the players were settling for penalties. Maybe he tried to inspire them otherwise and they didn't listen, but that still says a lot about him as a manager.

Nah disagree - Spurs had a great side when he was there early on. He even got Dele Alli to put in a shift.
Appears from the outside that he's a man manager but maybe he's either lost his knack or has the wrong players and can't motivate them. Either way Chelsea board have got a big decision to make.
Think the amoritisation deals were a massive mistake btw. We did the same when we gave the likes of Aubameyang, Pepe and Nketiah long deals on big money and then watched their value plummet.

Come on Sheriff, we had an 11 with a younger average age than them to start with and still had an 11 with a much younger average age than them when the final whistle went!

To be fair, whilst you may have had a younger team they were much more experienced than Liverpool's so you should have taken the game to them a bit more - no?
