The sellout speaks.
On a broader note. Will Saudi Arabia destroy the Premier League?

Henderson, who has been a leading voice in the Rainbow Laces campaign and has worn a rainbow armband when captaining Liverpool, caused controversy this summer with his move to Saudi Arabia, where homosexuality is illegal.
“I can understand the frustration [from the LGBT+ community],” Henderson told The Athletic. “I can understand the anger. I get it. All I can say around that is that I’m sorry that they feel like that. My intention was never, ever to hurt anyone. My intention has always been to help causes and communities where I felt like they have asked for my help."
He has apologised. Lets move on.

Wear the laces and speak out for the community THERE, and keep us posted Jordan.

Or convert to Islam. That would be a huge plot twist.

'I'm sorry you feel that way' isn't really a proper apology though.

He is not even gay. He does need to feel anything towards them or even owe them a "proper apology".
I wonder if the UK government have apologised to the many homosexuals who they convicted for being who they are.
They have only just wiped their records clean in June this year. This year lol
But lets talk about Henderson being a hypocrite.

Then don’t f*cking say anything, and don’t pretend you gave a sh*t in the first place.

I think they would be perfectly valid to be angry at him for using their cause to better his brand, when it becomes apparent that he was only pretending to care about them. Perhaps he could apologize for his actions in that regard and show some accountability, rather than trying to deflect it off himself and apologizing for how they feel.

So he should come out and say something like
"Sorry for lying I cared about you. I could have stayed quiet and been a normal football robot and say 'no comment', like 99% of my peers would have done. Sorry for raising awareness for your cause even though I am married to my wife with a few kids".
Would something like the above be ok with you?

That apology starts off well, but then becomes more disingenuous.
I can't speak for the community, but I'd imagine if it was me I'd rather people just stayed quiet, rather than using the cause as an excuse to make yourself look better when you don't actually genuinely care.

Just heard talksport in the car and they are still talking about it. Salty scousers ringing up crying.
But there is no outrage...
