I want to start by saying I’m not insinuating he is innocent by any means as I have no idea.
What I have noticed since the news broke is that the main steam media only seems to be reporting news on the situation when it reflects poorly on the Brazilian.
Yesterday a transcript and voice recording of a conversation between one of the alleged victims and another woman was posted via a few well known and followed United fan channels. The conversation could be seen as fairly incriminating for the accusers, as they talk about Antony and other footballers being targeted for their money etc…
This puts massive red flags up about the alleged 3rd victim and she also talks about the 1st potential victim as being out to get Antony as well. This could be hearsay but it raises the question as I believe this call was before the allegations were made.
This does not seem to have been reported by any major news outlet. He may or may not be guilty, but we seem to be in an era of trial by social media, with the main sources of the news only reporting parts of a story to suit their agenda.

We live in a society where social media seems to decide whether you're innocent or guilty without any concrete evidence, and its enough to mess up your career due to the pressure it puts on the employer to make a decision quickly, social media mob is something else, its all pretty fudged up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes the social media mob really are a law unto themselves. Combine that with their belief that they have the right to know 'the facts' on cases and that they have a right to be able to make a judgement on accused people solely based on what they read. Or hear. On social media pages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing new there really. It's just the as old as humanity social dynamics going digital. Before the internet people cared about their reputations and if yours got ruined you would pay the price for that. It's the same concept, only now we have technology and the internet to blow it up to another level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another level that is much more amplified and widespread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, that's what I said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And I added to it. Bit sensitive aren't you Tommy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What the? What have I done or said to make you think I'm sensitive? I only said thats what I said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok big man 👍🏻

You want them to report hearsay just because it favours you?

The title of the article is "Creating a narrative The Anthony Edition".
It's clear what the OP is implying. Articles like this one is one of the reasons Liverpool fans were accused of defending Suarez.

I’m not defending anyone and I’m not saying he hasn’t done anything. Not sure that’s the same as saying he’s not guilty because it’s a term of endearment in his country…

Or just tell the whole story as opposed to parts?
