Delving into the personal life and managerial career of Super Frank.
Frank Insightful, articulate and candid as ever.
Half the squad that actively seeked to leave or were engineering moves away for the duration of last season...gone this summer, helps. And that's a whole heap of players.
Trying to keep squad morale up of players that essentially checked-out early-doors, was always going to be a tough ask getting them to perform.
With the current squad...there's a sense of every player in the squad buying into the process (invested in playing for the club), eager to "earn their stripes" and prove a point.
The "running through brick walls" analogy for the good of the club and manager, type attitude and work ethic seems appropriate for these current group of players.
All-in on one common objective + the added incentive of bumping up wages during the course of their extensive contracts (or "prison contracts", as some would like to call it). No egos.

Wherever Frank goes next and the challenges that presents itself, I'll be rooting for him.
Knowing how driven he is, the end-game will be to win trophies before concluding the managerial chapter...by hook or by crook, he will make it happen somewhere down the line.

If he was all 3 of those things, he might've made a decent manager.
