I know we've got major issues at the club, and they'll remain there really whilst the Glazers are the owners, but I've a feeling we'll thump someone soon.
This is really 'Year One' for ETH where he has quite a few more pieces for his side so I would expect us to get better as the season goes on. Last season he really had to be quite pragmatic because of the personnel.
We're creating chances which is a positive and a think the narrative around our performances would have been somewhat different had we taken some of those chances early on v Spurs and Brighton. Whilst the midfield is still a worry I hope the addition of Mount and Amrabat soon will give us some more legs and with those I think the risk/reward of ETH changing the style with move towards the reward bit.
We'll thrash someone soon

Hojlund hasn’t shown he can be clinical except on the international stage.

Scores yesterday, not his fault the ball went out. That with what was his only chance too.

I think everything is ok until the relentless optimist diafol starts to be negative.
That’s the point we know we are proper facked.

I'm not denying the whole club is in a mess at present but just a little bit of luck and, dare I say it, good vibes would help immensely!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As long as you are still positive diafol things could be a lot worse…

Dunno about that. We don't look capable of thrashing anyone atm.
I'll make a bold prediction though, and say I think we'll win 6 of our next 8 league games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope you are right. Very, very unlikely though.

Can’t see how we get 6 points from Brentford, Palace and Fulham atm tbh

Hey Diafol, what's your trick to getting the Welsh flag in your user name?

United just ain't a free scoring team under Hag. Thrashing someone is unlikely. Lucky not to concede 6 yesterday

Brighton were lucky to score 3 yesterday from 6 shots. Very rarely that happens while Man Utd had 0 from 12 shots at a time. We missed more big chances than Man City last season and attempted more shots andew had nearly the same on target as them in the league last season. We created more chances last season than most of our title winning sides but still only scored 58 goals due to inept finishing.đ Even this season we actually converting less than our terrible finishing of last season which was the worst finishing Man Utd had in premierleague era since stats were recorded.
I was looking at the stats and we usually have similar stats to Pep for attempted shots and shots on target but barely score any goals and it is the same useless players leading our front line.đ Rashford was one of the worst strikers in the league last season for finishing but for Man Utd was one of the most clinical in our squad. Rashford missed 22 big chances and scored 17 league goals. Kane missed 12 big chances and scored 30 league goals and Rashford was one of our best at finishing big chances last season and I am not even joking lol.đ

Only Haaland missed more big chances than Rashford and Man Utd missed more big chances than Man City last season and usually the teams that miss lots of big chances top the table for goals scored as they create the most.đ We are finished this season. That is why I wanted Kane so badly. He would have scored around 60 goals with same chances Rashford had last season in all competitions and what is scary was most of our strikers had more shots than most strikers in the league and barely scored a goal.đ
Also Rashford is one of those players that can go through on goal 5 times and run the ball into the goalkeeper each time.

I just got it from my phone's list of emojis! Looks like a black flag on my work laptop though!
