Fairly sure justice doesn't work like that, you know where someone is found not guilty so we punish whoever brought this up.

I mean where does that stop? If you're found not guilty of murder do we go after the Police?

I think it's more probable people are getting away with rape myself but there we go.

Im sure the police go by evidence which they cant get from the deceased, so they have build the case from witnesses and other evidence at hand which is then given to the CPS!

Where as rape the police mainly build the case on first hand accounts of the alleged victim and if the CPS say take it to court then it’s possible it using the lies of the alleged victim

Is it right that these victims can destroy people lives with lies?

As said, I find it more likely that people are getting away with rape.

I think it’s fairly obvious that if there is clear evidence of a person fabricating evidence and/or making spurious claims for their own gain (financial or otherwise) then they would face legal action.

This is probably extremely rare and just because someone is found innocent does not necessarily mean that the accuser has made it all up. Most of these cases come down to he said / she said, which is why it’s a very low conviction rate.

There are some countries where the rapist can get off if a few of his friends bear witness that they raped the victim as well.
