I don't see why it wouldn't happen. If Kane wins leagues at Bayern and maybe a CL then he has at least fulfilled some of what he wanted to achieve in football. At that stage he'd probably be alright coming back to Spurs and I imagine winning English domestic trophies (with Spurs) and breaking Shearer's record would be other things he'd want to do anyway, if he can.

At the forum Levy said this:

'We're very much a club that believes in the academy producing players that can become hopefully superstars at Tottenham. We're not a club that can buy success. That's the reality and we have to understand that. And we needed a manager who was completely aligned with our philosophy.'


So he is openly saying we won't ever compete with City/Pool and even Arsenal now????!!!!

Liverpool and Arsenal are not "buying success" in teh same way as the likes of City and Chelsea.

Arsenal's spending over recent years is not much more than ours and we have spent more than Liverpool since new WHL opened.

I don't care what Kane wants, I want what is best for the club.

If in three years time, he is available, I don't want him back just because he is Harry Kane, it'll be if he fits into the team.

If Ange is still here and we have Madders or another player in the same mould and position, it would be stupid to sign him, as he'd have to play as a deep 10.
