Morning all !!!!
Brilliant result yesterday !!! absolutely delighted with the start Spurs have made. Obviously a bit lucky with the Díaz goal and the red cards are what they are... not really our problem ! Thought everyone played great yesterday against a really good team.
Only thing i want to point out is the way we play in wide areas. This is not a dig against Kulu or Solomon but they are clearly not learning and they are making things hard for ourselves... the last 20 mins yesterday was evidence of this. This has nothing to do with playing right footers on the right and lefties on the left BUT....
Both goals against Sheffield United, the first against arsenal and both goals yesterday came from getting the ball in from wide areas early. When we do it we get the opposition facing their own goal, off balance and in a worse position to defend ... as a result good things happen.
As good as kulu is... he's not Messi and he continues to play into trouble... we played into liverpools hands yesterday by playing into congested areas, the only way they were able to defend.
Id rather both he and solomon went on the outside and played it earlier even if the cross ends up being a swinger and leads to nothing... at least it gives the defenders a second option to think about.
Not a complaint or a major criticism of either player but we could be doing even better than we are....just a case of learning and building on things that have brought us sucess and not doing the same things over and over because it's what they are most comfortable with.
Happy Sunday Everyone

9 v 11
An offside goal chalked off
2 red cards
And a 96th minute own goal .....
And we played some good stuff .
Yet that was an amazing performance by spurs ....
And your lot players partied like ye won the world which is exactly the thing spurs fans mocked Liverpool for , for the west brom thing .
I like ange for the celtic connection but have a word with yourselves ....spurs are playing well , let's see where ye finish up ...No-one is beating city
And please stop with the livarpool comments ....disgracefully offside decision yesterday

Perisic one-footed
The guy literally takes corners for Tottenham with different feet from each side

Can't honestly think of a more ambidextrous player in world football than Perisic. What a mad take

Cry me a river.
I think you will find every player and supporter in world football celebrates, especially when it is a last minute winner. Did none of your players and supporters celebrate the last minute winner against Spurs last season?

Spurs looked real good against 9 men! Probably could win the Women's Super League at this pace!

IMO we were just a bit too eager and naive. They blocked up the centre of the pitch and we kept trying to go thru it.
It was obvious from both the goals we did score that we had to get behind it and pull the ball back because they won every header when we did get the ball into othe box.
That was actually the ideal game for Perisic left or Johnson right with his pace abd ability to go past the full back.
Still both were injured and we still got 3 points.
Not only that but we had the bonus of really pi$$ing the sky team and pools supporters off
The whole script of "brave liverpool" "outstanding tactics by klopp" etc. etc was totally negated.
As for Neville and his "it was not a red" he also said that the Romero penalty against woolwich should not have been given. He has started to believe his own press and to be honest is starting to look like a total idiot.

Good Post!
Perisic is gone unfortunately, so we must forget him.
Kulusevski seems scared to take a shot, and when he did it was awful. However, he is our goto man on the right and Pool were double and triple teaming him (until they couldn't).
Both sending-offs were correct.
I felt a bit sorry for Richarlison, he tried so hard, ...but he did get the assist.
Vicario has yet to make a mistake that I can remember!
And finally, Jugen Klopp is a real Asshhole.

Have Spurs played against 9 or 11 men in every game this season?

Perisic would have come in very handy yesterday for his delivery into the box. Shame he us out for the season.

Anyone would think we played against 9 men the whole game, rather than the last 20 mins. We were the better team at 11v11, or certainly there was nothing in it. Liverpool fans just using this offside thing as a get out to claim they’d have definitely won the game had it not happened and that they are by far the better team because we struggled to break down 10 men - which is often the case when teams have men sent off.
They need to stop the crying now, it’s getting embarrassing. Facking get over it and move on.
