10 Game report card can't really be much better can it!
27 points from 30
Players improved beyond belief with Fantastic Football being played.
Records being broken weekly
Not conceded from a corner since Coventry in the first game, just about 50 now defended successfully.
TOP of the Table and building a points barrier.
Well done Enzo, his Team and LCFC

You'll be promoted with a dozen games to go at this rate....very envious!

I will say it again, you should never have got relegated last season - I still think you were the most talented side ever to be relegated from the Prem - Rodgers crippled you and the better players couldn’t compensate for his tactics

The biggest thing Enzo has done this year is change the mentality of the squad. He’s brought fight and a massively improved work rate to the team.
Players not up for that have been sold or loaned. No negative influences needed around the squad unlike the stink of discontent that Rodgers created last season.
Some players look reborn under Maresca and some have been moved on.
Yes our squad looks way too good for this league but getting their attitude right so we didn’t continue the slide was critical and this is Enzo’s biggest acheivement so far.

Couldn't agree more Mersey.....
One of the reasons that I wanted Enzo in way before he was appointed was that he would be fresh and have a winning mindset/mentality.
This would challenge EVERYBODY at the club, those that bought into it would flourish, those that didn't buy into it would go during the summer or next January.
The whole club feels light years away now from the desolation that BR left, and it has taken this long to get back to somewhere that feels like "an even keel"
Yes we all feel that we should not be in this division ( even some opposition fans are saying that) but we are where we are.....
Our squad has been revamped and I think one of Enzo's first aims was to have that spine to rely on.
With Hermansen, Coady, Winks, Vardy and yes even Wilf thats a spine that any club in our league would want.
BUT we know and other clubs know that having good players does not bring automatic success, its the wor off the pitch, the belief, the team bonding together and this will have been one of the biggest challenges as our starting XI looks a tad different from last year, there can always be a bedding in period for players before they gel together, and while we have seen early new signs of growth I think we all know that we have not been at 100% yet...
So should we go straight back up? Yes
Will we? Yes
Will we need further additions to compete again? Obviously
But at the moment let us enjoy what this season brings without already trying to relegate ourselves next season if we play like this. Our team/squad will evolve and improve over the coming months, there will be further departures and arrivals, but boy is it great to hear the KP full of "mainly" positive support.
Finally is it just me or does anybody else think that Coady and his arrival has been a major coup.... even without playing he has been a major factor for the boys behind the scenes and he is a cool calm head on the pitch.
He for me is one of our best signings over the last few seasons.

Dare I add that despite their calamitous Mistakes last Year ( not sacking Rodgers day after day ) the Club itself should start to get some recognition for how well they have done as part of this reset at the Club.

I think thats a bit early to go that far TB
They get kudos for appointing Enzo thats for sure, and he obviously has a strong belief in himself and how he wants his team to play ( can we now forget about his brief Parma spell,,,,) but it's far too early to give them recognition.
I do wonder if the relegation shocked them all to the core and there may just have been some admittance in the boardroom that they were culpable in our relegation ( as well as BR)
But let us see how the season goes, how they support Enzo as and when we hit a bumpy patch and how they prepare him and us for the PL IF and not when we get promoted.

Agree with pretty much all of the above. Although some have suggested on other threads that although we’re flying in this division, things will need to change when we go up, I’m not so sure that massive change will be required.
The majority of the current first eleven have extensive Premier League experience and some are established international players. You can add to that that some who were heretofore labelled as average Championship standard are showing definite signs of rapid improvement under the tutelage of Maresca. The future is bright.
Expect Man Utd to come in with a bid for Hermansen in January though. Their current first choice doesn’t seem to be up to the job!

We need to be focussed on getting out of this league rather than looking ahead too much. Having said which, although I agree we've got the basis of a squad for the EPL, I'm not sure that they are up to the calibre needed to make Enzoball work at that level. Eg Vestergaard.
Still it's a work in progress and so far going better than I think most would have expected.
