Sunday 2pm isn't the ideal time for a West Midlands derby but just 4 years ago it was wolves that were having games pushed back a day due to European competition. These days we have the luxury of Thursday nights off while our nearest PL neighbours travel to the backwaters of Europe (yes I do know they played in Witton on Thursday) in pursuit of European glory. I've heard their fans mention occasionally that they've had some European success before.
Wolves come in to the game on a high after inflicting defeat on the reigning English and European champions, but as your esteemed thread writer discussed in Tesco's this afternoon with one of his fellow North bank buddies, we really need to follow that up with at least a draw. Too many times we've beaten a top side only to follow that up with a poor performance and result. Losing can become a habit but similarly, unbeaten runs can too.
I have to admit I don't yet trust our players to put in the same level of commitment as they did last week against Villa. I do sense though that the mindset and attitude may be changing. I hope so because if we can play to our potential every week we can easily be a top 10 side, however if we go in at 90% as we've done far too many times over the last three years we will get what we deserve.
Maybe it's geographical proximity and knowing and working with too many Vile fans but they concern me, multiple dangerous forward options and an increasingly resolute defense with excellent additions in Tores and Lenglet in the summer. Not to mention an excellent coach. I would take draw right now but would love it, love it I tell ya if we nicked a win, that said....

Step daughter is up from London and came out for an afternoon stroll with us to a local hostelry, she spotted none other than MGW in said hostelry and said oh look its Morgan, (she's the same age as him and went to a party he was at once about 6 years ago) anyway she wandered over to him and started chatting to him like an old friend. Could tell by the look on his face he hadn't a clue
