Surprised more teams weren't looking at him. Seems to have everything to his game. I don't think we could have got a better CB in as an upgrade to the 2 misfits.

Liverpool we’re interested but hesitated and we swooped in.

We’ve had a rare summer where every signing has turned into a great bit of business and we’ve been propelled up the league as a result

I hope the signings have been down to a new approach in recruitment rather than us just striking it lucky. I mean Maddison was kind of obviously going to be a good signing, but VDV and Vicario coming from overseas leagues have been equally as good and required a bit more nous. Fair play to the club for recruiting them. New manager has helped too.

Yes, but I think you never saw the best of Romero as he was with such sh** CB’s like Sanchez, Dier and Davies. No coincidence Romero looks a world beater this season too.

Yeah, Ange had an abnormal success rate with signings in Glasgow too. I don't think it is a coincidence and it is him that makes the difference.

I do not understand why Sandy doesn't rate Romero.
He's the best CB in the league.
And a World Cup winner.
Lionel Messi says Romero is best in the world!

VDV us the best in the league Ted.

As for Romero I said last season he had to pull his socks up. He was making mistakes, yellow cards, red cards were regular occurrences. He is playing well this season, so has upped his game playing alongside VDV, and I commend him for that.
