Has anyone else noticed the strange leg thing he does when he's going to take a corner? Just as he's about to place the ball, he sort of bends one leg, or does a little hop. Similar to Dickie Bird when the cricket scorce got to 111.
Don't know if its just he's thing or a covert signal to the team.

Still our key man for unlocking teams. Unbelievable that we haven't tied him down yet. Unless he's demanding a ridiculous contract, which I assume he isn't, it's a real blunder to let his contract expire.

he was offered a contract extension the if we didnt get promoted he had to take a decent pay cut
cant really blame him for not signing
if we get promoted i'm sure he'll stay

Sounds fair enough then MNT - he would easily look at home in the Championship and if we have to balance our books next season then we can't be paying him championship wages. I guess that would go for Smithies as well.

What would we get for him selling at Christmas? 250k? No brainer for me keep him knowing we lose him for nothing if we don't go up. Just shows the clubs with money play to different rules to everyone else, the likes of MK Dons would have no option but to let him go.

Re: 'Leg Thing'
Sounds like Gary is suffering from 'Bagpeel'. This is a common male condition whereby the knackerbag attaches itself to the inner thigh necessitating fast leg spasms to separate the two.
