With just 3 rounds of fixtures remaining, the picture has become a bit clearer. Some teams have secured their place, some teams have been eliminated while others cling on to hopes of a play-off.
GROUP A
Scotland and Spain qualify!!
Georgia go into League C play-offs.
Norway have to wait to see if they get a play-off place.
GROUP B
France's victory over the Netherlands has confirmed their place in Germany. Tomorrow night sees the Dutch head to Greece, with the Greeks sitting second and 3 points ahead. A home win will put the Greeks 6 points clear, with them having 1 November fixture - against France - while Netherlands have 2.
GROUP C
Wins for Italy and Ukraine last night mean Tuesdays fixture between England and Italy is massive in the group. England sit 3 points ahead of both their rivals, although Ukraine have played a game more. Ukraine go to Malta and we could go into the last 2 games with all 3 on 13 points. However, an England win will guarantee their place in Euro 24.
GROUP D
Turkey lead on 16 points, with one game to play.
Wales sit in second on 10, Croatia also on 10. Both have 2 games to play.
Armenia aren't out of it on 7 with 2 games to play.
Latvia are out.
GROUP E
Albania top the group on 13 points with Czechia in second on 11. Both have 2 games to play.
Poland look like they will miss out, 3rd on 10th but only 1 game left.
Moldova still have a chance with 9 points and 2 games to play.
Faroe Islands are out with a very, very slim chance of a play-off.
GROUP F
Belgium and Austria have qualified.
Sweden are out.
Azerbaijan might get a play-off place
Estonia could get a league A play-off place.
GROUP G
A massive win for Hungary last night over 2nd placed Serbia puts them is a strong position. A win in Lithuania on Tuesday puts them through. The big match in this group is between Serbia and their neighbours Montengro. Serbia sit 2 points clear, but having played a game more - so whoever wins this has to be expected to qualify.
GROUP H
The tightest of groups got a little bit clearer last night with Slovenia and Denmark getting wins over Finland and Kazakhstan - putting them 4 points clear with 3 games left. The top two play the bottom two on Tuesday, while Finland and Kazakhstan meet with the loser almost certainly eliminated and a draw doing neither any good.
GROUP I
The horrific events in the Middle East have taken precedence over this group, with both Israels games being postponed. Switzerland sit atop the group and they host Belarus today. Romania have bottom placed Andorra as they look to increase their lead over Israel to 5, albeit with the chasers having played 2 less.
GROUP J
Portugal qualified with their 7th win from 7. The chase for 2nd is still very competitive, with second placed Slovakia going to shock 3rd Luxembourg tomorrow. Bosnia will hope Portugal will ease off as they host them tomorrow. Slovakia currently hold a 2 point advantage over Luxembourg and 4 over Bosnia so a win tomorrow and Bosnia failing to will put them within touching distance of Euro 24.
PLAY-OFFS
Still a rather complicated picture, although a number of teams will be hoping the Dutch beat Greece. The current picture looks like this:
League A - Netherlands, Czechia, Wales, Estonia
League B - Israel, Bosnia, Finland, Ukraine
League C - Georgia, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan.
Ireland need 3 teams above them in League B or League A to move into qualifying places without knocking another team above them out!
Seedings
Even the already qualified teams still have a little to play for, as the seedings for the Euro 24 draw are based on qualification performance. Portugal, France and Belgium look good to join Germany in pot 1, with Scotland and England currently also in position for top pot. Albania and Hungary look to be in a strong position to be pot 2, with the likes of Spain, Croatia and Italy finding themselves sitting in pot 3 and 4 positions.
The best performing 5 group winners go into Pot 1 with Germany, the next 5 plus the best second go into pot 2. The next 6 best runners-up go into pot 3, with the remaining qualifiers and play-off winners in pot 4.
All games are on ViaPlay, with England on Channel 4 and Wales on S4C and BBC iPlayer.
