A JA606 Meet-up.

Yes, it’s been mooted for years but it could finally happen. Next year I’m flying back to the UK for a couple of reasons, but one of those is to finally see Suede live. One of my all time favourite bands and somehow never saw them but next year they’re co headlining a gig with the Manics which is a bit of a dream gig.

Now of course there are those on here who believe anonymity is nine tenths of the law but I’m a pretty normal guy with no Matth like crazy features and whisper it but I’m (mildly) hilarious so if anyone’s up for the gig or even just some drinks beforehand I’ll be around. Let’s be honest, after talking on here regularly for a good 10-15 years we’re all kinda family right now. Would be good to meet some of you in person. I just know you’ll be up for it Diafol.

Let me know if you’re up for it and it can happen. Maybe get Hafi out and get him laid with one the the fine denizens of London Town. Woo her with stats.

I would love to join you all.

Would you be up for watching the Barbie film with a few drinks?

Scottish boards have been 'meeting up' for quite a while - maybe 10 years? Been some big ones with c. 20-25 attendees. A hardy core (clique) meet up about 8 times a year. We've had maybe 5 or 6 charity 11 a sides raising c. £15k iirc. There was a 5as running but knees and covid I think have taken a toll.

Others can chime in and correct me.

I was on the Caladonian canal Fort William to Inverness going through Loch Ness 7-14 October, it was a little bit wet.
