100% certain. It's the age that counts. I'm aiming for over 86 to live longer than my parents.

Rumours say it's going to be a 3 man committee with two being Jim's INEOS guys

The glazers going to give up that power to a guy who owns a small %..?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think so yes. But this is what is flummoxing everyone. Jim's deal is most likely the start of a full takeover. There's no way the Glazers would be handing over such powers otherwise.

It's worse. It's like dying over and over again, from the inside and out!

They have never shown any interest in sporting strategy, so it's not implausible they'd cede control of that.

In fact, it's absolutely ridiculous to think that they are that incompetent as businessmen that they can't see that the footballing side of things has deteriorated under their ownership. And that a new voice could help improve that.

Yes, they're arrogant, yes they're indecisive, but I think even Joel could realise that having football people making football decisions could improve his own wealth maximisation opportunities.

I'd hope that. But they're so hopelessly incompetent it's hard to know

I dunno, you tell me RDD. I think there are people who know more about how to achieve success in footballing terms than the Glazers. I could be wrong though.

Things at United aren't great right now. The Glazers have made the calls that have got us there. No league title in 10 years, no league title in just as long. What do you think? Are you enjoying that? Can anybody do better than Joel? Can many people do better than him? I think so

Well, the thread is about the committee being made up of Glazer and 2 Ineos guys. I don't think any of them are football people.

That said, im notnsweating it, as I fail to see how Even the most connected journos could have any clue what Ratcliffe intends to do.

I'd also question just how much say Glazer currently has over football decisions.

Fair enough then, my mistake, I apologise. I thought you were suggesting that there aren't any football people who could do better than Joel. But yeah, I'm not confident these new guys coming in are overly competent either
