Don't screw this up, Pochettino
As it stands, dead-rubber minutes or favoring a dud in Cucurella is a funny way of showing that you value and rely in his ability, in persuading him to stay long-term. (Is it any wonder that Maatsen allegedly rejected two long-term contracts based on that?). Doesn't bode well and doesn't cut it.
All things considered...Maatsen should be getting considerable minutes and cup / PremierLeague starts when the games come thick and fast every three days from beginning of December at the very least.
By contrast...Gallagher the beneficiary of unavailabilities, has taken the opportunities presented with both hands. Looking ever likely he will commit long-term based on the trust Poch has in him. Started every match thus far, a key driving force in winning possession, providing attacking intent and retaining tempo in final third at present.
Maatsen given a fair crack of the whip can perform in a similiar way and most importantly stays injury free (famous last words).

Badiashile and James no longer on that list. Full training without adverse reactions.
Must starters in upcoming matches.

After £6.9bn spent, is it too much to ask for a Chelsea win? 🤔
