They were all so down to earth salt of the earth people back in those footballing days...I liked the bit where I think it was Yorath who was shaking his weekly salary in an envelope, sounded like there were a few coins too, and Revie wanting to have his torn trousers fixed before a game, he was so supersticious !!

We can moan about the way the club is run, the performances of players, signings etc but the only thing that really gets my goat is our away kits, should be all yellow end of, they can have what they want for 3rd kits but if all yellow was good enough for Don, Billy,Wilko and Strach its good enough for us now,

I remember getting my pay every 2 weeks in a little brown envelope, and yes there was small change in it!.



And teams having 3 kits, why do they need 3, its just another con way off making the kids want more off what some parents cant always afford!..
