Does Ronaldo deserve a statue at United?
I know his behaviour upon his return has probably tainted his legacy, but he still won everything with us as part of (arguably) SAFs best side, plus the Balon Dor.
Does he deserve a statue

And don’t forget the first time he wanted away… he actually claimed he was being treated as a slave, as he pushed for the move.
But we didn’t want to hear that, cos he was at that point the best in the world.
The man, who is to be respected for what he’s done in the game, has to wait a bloody long time to get such an honour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cant blame him for leaving TBF. He went to one of the best sides ever and has the trophies to back the move up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A side that won 2 league titles in 9 years?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. They were competing with a top Barca side, that had Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta, Henry.

1 of those players was gone before Barca well before Ronaldo joined RM, another had 1 season crossover.
You do talk some absolute nonsense.

Why because I said he joined a top side, a side who went on to win 4 Champs a leagues with.

Your excusing him forcing a move because he went to a successful side and claiming he was up against players he wasn’t.

I’m not excusing anything.
He left United for another HUGE club, and went on to become 1 of, if not the best ever. His greatness isnt up for discussion. If you don’t think he warrants a trophy at United, fine, I accepted he doesn’t a while ago.

Statue, not trophy

A statue for Ronaldo would be a marketing exercise

As Madrid's greatest player, they should do the honours.
There are too many United players that could potentially be recognised for their service to the club.
Maybe plaques, or stars like the Hollywood Walk of Fame are the way to go.

There aren't many others who won a Balon D'or and European Cup.
