We’re not gonna still be top in Jan. We look loads better under Ange but let’s be realistic. We are a pulled muscle away from relying on Dier to play CB or Richarlison to play CF.
In order to keep our best players fresh we are brining on absolute plodders like Royal, Skipp and GLC who showed last night - and not for the first time this season - that they are simply not good enough on the ball to manage games out or fill in for the first 11. Fulham had virtually all their best opportunities in the last 15 mins and if they weren’t so poor in the final third we’d have been punished for our lack of depth.
That lack of depth is what will do for us in the end. Son has had niggly injuries for a year now and Madison has a guaranteed period on the sidelines every season. Biss and Sarr have AFCON.
Our best hope to be able to do what Chelsea (with no Europe) did in 2017 and amass a shed load of points over the autumn while everyone else is arrsing around with midweek European games. Mad to say that an away game at Palace in October is crucial, but it is. Win that, then rest and recover and go again.

Tottenham are looking very good so far this season. They've also played United, Arsenal and Liverpool, so not a particularly easy start. The real question was whether or not they would miss Kane's goals; that doesn't seem to be an issue either, with Spurs having scored in every game this season.
It will be interesting to see how they cope over a long season, although no Europe or League Cup should help a little.
Tottenham fans have every right to be excited right now.

United are a joke, Liverpool game was basically robbery and spurs looked poor against 10 then 9 men. Arsenal were missing key players against them
Come the end of December normality will resume and the reality that it's another year with no trophy will start to dawn of their supporters 😂

It's called reality. Keep telling yourself you are going to need a trophy cabinet soon.
I know Tottenham is one of the most impoverished areas in the country but the crack problem must be crazy there atm ....only way to explain all this title talk 😂
