Shame Sancho has decided he doesn’t want to play football anymore because as poor as he has been for us he is better than Antony.

Highly debatable. Only thing he beats Antony in is g/a stats and even that is marginal enough.
If he showed similar attitude to Antony he may have achieved something at United.

I’ve never said Antony is or has been good enough for us.
The point I’m making is that those who get more minutes have been as bad if not worse for months and we don’t currently have a better option on the RW.

It’s pretty obvious why Rashford stays on and Antony doesn’t, though. One can provide a spark to kill a game, especially on the counter against tiring defences, and the other can’t.

Every time he gets subbed we seem to improve though. We made about 2/3 really good chances shortly after he went off. 😂
Could have scored 4 or 5 in that second half. Rashford could have had 1, Garnacho 2, Mctominay missed one I think too.
I appreciate his work rate I really do but he's absolutely tragic as a winger. He plays like a fullback to me. He can't do anything in attack at all.

Spot on.
Rashford was horrid again though but more likely to do something over Antony I totally agree.
Garnacho adds a spark that Antony just doesn't have.

I don't think Antony has shown anything like we'd expect from a player who cost that much. The fee isn't his fault though. What I won't moan about is his application. However, that's not a great place to be really as every player should be, as a bare minimum, working hard. Here we are though!
I do think there's a player there somewhere in an attacking sense too but don't think we'll see it in this current United.

…..
Not that marginal if you go by minutes on the pitch. And those stats are what wide forwards are judged on.
They are not judged on backwards passes to Dalot stats.

Watching a right footed Beckham style cross infront of the Stretford end tonight felt good.
Antony can't do that.
I know it's all in fashion to play inverted wingers but why not actually try signing a right footed winger to play there and bring back the 90's.
Antony isn't it. Never will be.

Without a good one you'll never reach the top though
