Off the back of 3 good results but poor performances, we have 5 big games before the next International break.
Is there a scenario where we could be looking for a new manager after these games, and if so, what does ETH have to do to stay in the job?
City - H - I dont think many expect us to get anything out of this game. Performance and avoiding a tanking is key here.
Newcastle H - League Cup - Probably our best chance of a trophy again, but not hugely important for me. Again, if we can avoid a heavy defeat that should be OK.
Fulham A - A must win for me, especially if we lose to City. With Villa, Spurs, and Chelsea in form, anything but a win could see us around 10th.
Copenhagen A - Not a must win with 2 more group games to come, meaning qualification would still be possible, but anything less than a win and a good performance could add to the pressure.
Luton H - A must win game. Even with injuries, we should be confident of beating Luton at home. Anything less than a win could spell trouble for Ten Hag.
So, for me, the Fulham game is key for ETH. If the City and Newcastle games havent gone well, anything less than a win at Fulham could see him gone.
Anyone disagree with the significance of these games, or think he could still remain even after a loss to City and draw with Fulham?

Don’t think after already conceding 7 at Pool last year and 6 at City there is any shock left for a result under ETH he would fly through say a 6-0 drubbing against City.
The only time he would be in trouble is if as looks highly possible we cannot finish in the top 5 but the club as a whole doesn’t have the governance right now to sack a manager mid season, no matter how directionless we look and how many tonkings we take, more disruption would only make it worse.
Maybe the players he wanted out like Maguire and McT will save him from the ones he has bought , regardless of league position it would be nice to be entertained currently we are the dullest, softest and least motivated team in the Prem.

Wishful thinking. I told someone else that I wished we played much better and still lost. It shows an upward trend. Newcastle struggled results wise but their performance were strong. That's what I want.
