Either we win narrowly or get hammered. Can’t really see it going any other way.

I actually think 2-0 or 3-1 to City but with them outplaying us embarrassingly.

There'd be no complaints from me on Sunday if we sat back and tried to hit on the break. Even if we do have loads behind the ball at all times. Even our best teams under SAF did this on occasion so it certainly shouldn't be beneath this current lot.

I do have a strangely optimistic feeling about the weekend though. I think we may well have turned a corner luck wise and I think we'll get a pen v City.

Same here, just got this weird guy feeling we'll get the win. We have so many gears to go through, mostly untested, I just feel eventually it will click, when it does we'll surprise a few people. Everyone expects us to lose, get trounced even so what is there to lose? Let's go for it!

Never a good time to play them. They are better than us from 1 to 11 and even probably the first few subs too.

We have been playing like a team that is going to get a hiding any day soon. We give up so many chances to even teams who aren't that good. If City are on anything like their A game we are going to get absolutely mullered.

Looking at the table a United win isn't exactly unpalatable to me.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we got a pasting either to be fair but football is such a strange game. Sometimes it's just the one piece falling into place that can make a massive difference.

It's so annoying for teams trying to beat City in a title race because Utd are basically a guaranteed 6 points for them but not for their rivals.

City don't take six points off us all that often. 2021-22, 2018-19... only twice since the Moyes season. Ole had a good record against City.
