Ey up Trickies
Been a while, Derby fan in peace as always. I took my first look at you and your team of 70 players today.
I felt a deep empathy with your fans, which I don't always feel if I'm honest. I realized that here we are two Leagues apart. You dodge FFP and get promoted, we get found out and get demoted. Yet both sets of fans are being treated to toothless football. Don't get me wrong I'd prefer to be beaten by teams that can actually play football well, as opposed to losing to a team full of 11 Ryan Yates' but equally, it's dire, stultifying, soulless and if I'm being a snob a bit beneath us.
In your case I feel it's timidity wrapped up in a park the bus format, for us it's more... let's rush around really hard and similarly not do anything creative with the ball, lose possession and then a goal and then embarrass ourselves trying to break down a team, that just parks the bus, but not quite as well as Coopy does.
I don't like to see both sets of fans so downhearted. I feel you deserve some shots on target and we deserve some Plan B's
Which got me thinking we should have a manager swap till Xmas. Warne ball is proper good stuff if you're the underdog and trying to catch skilful teams out. I'm not sure why you're the underdog with the money you've spent, but I guess these things take time. Coopy I think would be great for us we could play dead for 75mins make League One teams think they're good and then bam pick their pocket and 1-0 to the Derby boys.
I'm not sure it will actually help either of our non footballing teams, but feel like it would be a different flavour of non football. A shared experience of both clubs shaking off the shackles of Clough-ball and embracing these brave new worlds we've both found ourselves in.
Just a suggestion
In solidarity
Peace Proposal

Struggling in the Premier league is better than treading water in Div 1. You may not win as often so you have fewer happy Saturdays but when you do win the joy is much greater.

Spart, are you deliberately trying to re-ignite the old argument ?

And no, I don't think losing regularly 6-0 is funny. I would be happy mid-Championship but someone will come along with too much ambition. Quod Tuum Tenne đ

We're not quite that poor. Feisty hounds and terriers.

Not sure anyone wants Warne, but he is not the real problem thou is he?
Cooper has plenty of credit in the bank still, we will be okay once a few injured lads come back

Not sure why you want to make a peace proposal when there are no hostilities.
I think the relationship we have, such as it is, is comparable with our near neighbours. They tend to relish our every minor setback; whereas to us they are irrelevant.
But good luck in your future endeavours.
