Rather than do an ETH out article I thought I’d do this. We pretty much all know it’s a matter of time so I wondered who would be next in the hot seat.
Imo it’s down to these 4…
◾️De Zerbi. I know people say it’s the Brighton backroom organisation that is the real hero at that club I still feel his philosophy is purer than Ten Hags and might rub off on our players better.
◾️Conte. At least it would be hilarious. Give him a one year deal and maybe it’ll work.
◾️Ancelotti. He’s supposed to take over as Brazil coach next year but it’s a very unpopular appointment so might prefer the United job as it’s surely his last big whale to hunt in club management.
◾️Carrick. Possibly a bit soon but looked pretty competent in those three games he had with us. Surely popular with the current players so might be the best guy to take over if motivating our squad is the big challenge.
The next manager

This has the feel of Ole’s last season. We’ll probably improve next season as is tradition and then go back to being shiiiiit not long after.

Just getting ready for Ten Hag’s post sacking interview where he cries and says that he misses Antony’s pirouettes the most

No manager will fix this mess
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s not true.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s 100% true
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course it’s untrue as it suggests that there aren’t plenty of things a better manager can’t improve.
What is the mess? Players not being coached well. Poor choices of signings. Baffling tactical choices.
The glazers can be blamed for some of it but they really don’t have any influence on the training pitch and once we get a manager who can do the right things we’ll be amazed at how OTT we went when saying that it’s impossible to fix a mess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The last 10 years at the club suggests you're wrong. Jose, Moyes, LVG, none are bad coaches.
The history of the current coaching staff suggests they're very capable of coaching a football team.
Get somebody else in, maybe they'll win a trophy like ETH, like Jose, like LVG, but it won't be the PL or CL and it won't last long until we're sat here having the same conversation.

I actually feel sorry for anyone becoming United manager (apart from Mourinho obviously). Must be mentally crushing.

Rubbush. The right signings and coaching and we can compete. We spend enough money to do so. There are other issues, such as the stadium, that need addressing. But on the pitxh there is no reason we shouldn't be competing.

How do you coach players that don't want to coach themselves?
Do you honestly believe Antony practices things outside of mandatory training?
Gone are the days of the Beckham's, scholes, Ronaldo staying hours after training perfecting their ability
Now we have mugs who can't even do the basics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you miss the bit where I said make the right signings?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, so by coaching you meant coach new signings and not the current crop of sh!te? Or you hoping the current crop are flogged off at the nearest aldi to stack shelves
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Flog the ones that you can't improve or don't fit your system and keep the rest. It's what teams do. Or are United the only team where this approach can't work?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On a daft United contract you cant just flog the ones that you buy for £70m + and £250k week and dont fancy anymore after 6 months. You either have to pay them out or hang on to them for years polluting the culture at the club meanwhile waiting until some mugs can finally afford to take them off us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's got to start somewhere. What's your answer?
