Slightly disappointed that we have to wait until Monday night again to see Spurs play.
Such is the good vibe at the club right now that most of us cannot wait until the next game.
But wait we must and at least this has given us Friday to Monday week (10 days) to rest and recover and more importantly prepare to face our bogey team, Chelsea.
I suspect the welcome for Poch will be mixed, most being respectful, some unforgiving that he joined that lot. But the atmosphere will be white hot!
Chelsea's form is up and down. Started to string a few results together then blew hot and cold and lost at home to Brentford.
I suspect Poch might go with the 2 false 9s he did vs Arsenal (Palmer & Gallagher), to take their press to us in our third, but to give them energy and extra bodies in CM. I think it will be pretty fiercely contested in the middle of the park.
Where I see our big gain is probably in the final third. I suspect we will see Johnson and Son with Deki, loads of pace to worry them, and in particular Silva will be targeted. A great defender and reader of the game but not the quickest. Cannot say i know much about their other CBs
Despite their fairly lowly league position i think this will be more of a challenge than our relative positions suggest. They certainly know how to keep possession and move it around, but are just a bit toothless up front.
I'll leave predictions and lineups to others, but our team pretty much picks itself right now.

Told Destiny Udogie’s injury problem is ankle ligaments. He’s 8 days in, at best it’s normally 2 weeks recovery for minor issues. Monday in the balance obviously. Ange stated 50-50

That’s a tough one, you obviously don’t want to risk him being out longer term so shouldn’t rush him back.
We are so much weaker without him though and it just goes to show how weak this squad is without a few key players.

If Udogie misses Chelsea hopefully he is fit for Wolves next Saturday.
We will have to make do with Royal. Not the end of the world.

I think a lot of our supporters are getting s bit carried away with how good Chelsea are this season.
They have won just three Prem games against Luton Burnley and Fulham. They are not very good.

Might come back to bite me but I am far more concerned about Wolves than I am Chelsea. They have little bite, little leadership, no real pattern to their play, no superstars and all the confidence of a floppy Wang.
I think we win fairly comfortably.

I think Silva is like Bobby Moore was, brilliant at anticipating the game and has great positional sense. However in a one to one over 10 yards versus Son or Johnson I think he would come second every time🤔

Reckon it'd be OK with one of Bissouma or Sarr out, as Hojbjerg can cover either role decently enough. If both are out though, that's a big problem
