From Auntie:
Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca told BBC Radio Leicester:
"I don't think we deserved to lose the game β¦ "
Er β¦ yes you did fella. A bit more humility and honesty wouldnβt go a miss matey.
Suck it up! π

Do you think he noticed that other than that save right at the end, Meslier had a very quiet night, oh and how both commentators spent the evening drooling about how good Ricardo was in defence?

Most of the Leicester fans I read on the BBC were pretty gracious. The manager is getting nervous.
I haven't checked who Ipswich play their two games in hand but a couple of wins and they're top.

It's a manager's job to put a positive spin on things - even in defeat. He's doing exactly what Farke and most other managers would do.

First half was dead even. We dominated thr first 20.and they battled back. Second half we bossed the first 20 and they never got back into the game. We deserved to win. Flat track bullies springs to mind.

Ipswich play Leicester twice, either side of Xmas. Both have to come to us yet.
If Ipswich win today they will put a lot of pressure on Leicester however I’m rooting for Rooney for once in my life π€£π€£
Ipswich have one hell of a schedule near Xmas:
Norwich at home
Leeds away
Leicester at home

They play Brum away today and Rotherham on Tuesday.
Chances are they will be top by then.

Noticed that you read the Foxes contributors on here. Interesting that it paints a different story (that's a strange saying) to conventional wisdom.
The Leicester guys were saying that their team will go up but have winged it and been lucky to come away with the points in a couple of games, they came away with points they didn't deserve against QPR, are reliant on their wingers to make chances and are toothless up front. The midfield was flagged up as poor (not sure if that was a one off or every game).
I am not sure if this was fans talking as some do on our page after a loss and obviously three contributors is far from representative but as I say it bucks the conventional wisdom and makes you wonder is it all done and dusted.

I’ve just watched the Sky 15 minutes of “highlights” on the TV. They made it look like Leicester were all over us first half and never showed the early chance from Piroe or the Rutter penalty incident.
Of course, second half they had to show the goal and Don Goodman, through gritted teeth, had to watch us score. Even then he thought Byram was a little lucky as it came slightly off his shoulder.
Leicester have been one of the clubs the media love since they won the Prem. Of course they love to see us falling apart again π€£π€£π€£
In all seriousness though - if they buy a striker then they will benefit massively from the two excellent wingers they have.

Three points and a clean sheet away at the league leaders, who it seems are not so invincible at all. Brilliant result. Everyone played a blinder. We're going to grab one of those auto spots. Farke is a genius!
Enjoy!
