Bolton Wanderers v Solihull Moors

A break from league one action and the magic of the cup as non league Solihull Moors visit the toughsheet. There hasn't been much magic in the cup for Bolton since getting knocked out of the cup in the 4th round in 2018/19 when the likes of Luca Connell, Remi Matthews, Mark Beevers, Josh Magennis played for the club. Since then 4 first round exits to Plymouth, Crewe, Stockport and Barnsley. This is the 5th season on the trot Bolton have have been given a 1st round home tie. A bit about Solihull Moors. Solihull are in the west midlands. Solihull Moors was founded in 2007 in a merger between Moor Green and Solihull Borough and started off in the national league north. They were promoted to the national league in 2016 and this season managed by Andy Whing are in 4th place and in contention for promotion to the football league. Team news. Mendes Gomes is back. Injury absences. Johnston, Dempsey, Coleman, Ashworth. Changes will be made with a view to Tuesday's league game at Shrewsbury. Possible starting 11. Baxter. Forrester Santos Iredale. Matheson Maghoma Thomason Williams. Carlos Mendes. Nlundulu Böðvarsson. Kick off 3pm and if a draw at 90 minutes it's a replay.

Now I know why Morley is our penalty taker.

Sheehan is our best spot kick taker what I've seen.

We are ball number 4 for this afternoon's FA Cup draw.

It's on ITV1 after the live Chesterfield game, hit the mute button.
You'll get to enjoy a double dose of adverts before it comes on.

Whatever will be will be. I just want us to keep the winning run going. A win away on Tuesday at Shrewsbury Town is the next hurdle. They are in 18th, position in the league on 17 points. They have lost there last two games in the league, so hopefully we can get another away win under our belts before we face Blackpool at home on Sayturday 11th.

Unfortunately, I will miss it as I will be in Barnsley watching my grandson fight a guy from Dublin for his belt. I will however be keeping tabs on the scoreline as it happens.

Can't see us being on TV to be fair so I'd suggest Saturday at 3pm. Though with the FA Cup the last few years there has been a few fixtures on the Sunday not televised either.
