Bruno

Gets so much hate on here and some of it is warranted but no other player since he’s joined has come up with as many clutch moments (I hate that term btw). He should deffo get more respect.

Other than that a very average performance from the side (bar Garnacho who was excellent) that keeps the wolves from the door for a bit. Onto Copenhagen!

He got a late winner but how many attacks broke down with him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, he got the winner and set up the assist for the goal that was disallowed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s not the point. The point is that you can’t build a system around a player like Bruno. Because you never know what to expect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. His cons outweigh his pros currently.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t disagree, but what is the alternative?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not many. Maybe Mount or Eriksen with Bruno being used as an impact sub if we need a moment.

Penandez gets alot of hate because he's such a hate able cretin of a footballer. A decent player but with a weak whiny feeble character. Never Captain material for any Club that wants success. He doesn't inspire his teammates with his performances or his character. Complains constantly, blames everyone else for sc re wups, even his own.

How can the team prosper with a leader like that. Made worse by the fact Utd have been blessed with leaders down the years. He's just weak.

Bruno is poor. Has been for a time. Watch the game over again and you see how his individual errors are so bad.
Mctominay is another we need to get rid of, he is so poor. I'm almost crying wondering how he became a pro footballer

This. At the risk if sounding revolutionary, normal players acting normally in a football match will do miracles to a teams morale, efficiency and improved understanding in the team. 99% percent bad 1% moment of brilliance is not football. Most gambling odds are better than this

Bruno and Rashford have definitely not started the season well at all. Still our best players though much to the annoyance of many on here.

If we are do to anything remotely decent this season we will need them both to find their form again.

Hojlund and Garnacho look exciting but still incredibly Raw. Have high hopes for both of them though.

Antony is just rubbish.

Casemiro is way past his best. Has the occasional great performance but overall he's been pretty underwhelming.

Who else is there? We aren't a very good side quite honestly.

I think it’s time we give Garnacho a good 7-10 game run. Let him know he will get chances and take some pressure off.

Stick Rashford on the right and ask him to attack the byline/ back post.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Marcus prefers the left, do you think he won't kick up a fuss if asked to play RW?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So players are now chosen according to their preferences, or their performances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Surely you can't honestly think he's worse than Antony is. I know you don't like him but at least Rashford does make chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you mean individually, Antony is worse. But Rashford is worse for the team. When he receives the ball, instead of opening up possibilities for his teammates, he closes down all possibilities by trying to go for goal all the time, and in the same way.

Marcus is an individualistic player, Antony, whether he's pants or not (and he's pants btw for Utd) he's a team player. Antony's form has seriously dipped, offers absolutely nothing from an attacking sense but he's better defensively than Marcus.

Leagues are not comparable but if Antony could replicate his Ajax form he'd be some asset on the RW. However, with the inability to beat a player, being too one footed suggests he'll be out sooner rather than later.

It’s not as though Antony was playing this badly all of last season either, he’s one of many players to be suffering a dip in form, along with Casemiro, Rashford, Bruno and Dalot. Mount hasn’t settled, Hoijlund and Onana are settling into the league, Shaw, Martinez and Verane have had injuries,

Our whole team is suffering right now, but it’s natural to point the finger at the expense since signings.

Off field shenanigans have taken its toll, no doubt.

He may also be unsettled, Casemiro no doubt is going there same, the life is not as what it's cracked out to be in the UK, he's missing the lifestyle he had in Madrid (Antony in Amsterdam). There is more to it than meets the eye.

Fernandes was always a great contributor to the footballing cause at the club and he still is.

BUT and it's a very big "but" he's only human.

Personal responsibility is all find and dandy but, similar to Maguire, taking criticism from idiots for not continuously having to carry the deadbeats around them, is NOT a reasonable part of that personal responsibility.

To be fair, if I was Fernandes I'd struggle to put up with being lined-up alongside the likes of mctominay and rashford. Or in Maguire's case lined-up in a defensive unit that included non-EPL players like lindelof, dalot and the previous gk (coco, for those that may have forgotten).
