Watched the Copa Liberatores final yesterday and he didn't really stand out. It was a game full of household names, almost a veterans game with Marcelo, 40 year old Felipe Melo and Cavani among the pensioners playing.

Won by a lad called John Kennedy - who got himself sent off for his celebrations. A Pat Butcher slap saw a Boca lad sent off too. Typical South American game in truth.

Watched the game myself and thought he played well and would fit in nicely.

The Kennedy goal was some hit but pure stupidity on a yellow to run off the pitch into the fans. The Boca red was even more stupid since they were given a chance playing against ten only to level it. May as well have stuck a head in him.

Problem is, he needs about 10 clear cut chances to score 1.
A decent Championship striker would have a better conversion rate.
His first touch is woeful, control is not what it should be but then he comes up with something totally out of the blue like the goal v Bournemouth (his first touch nearly went out of play though)

Just think there's much better out there, I'd say cut our losses now, especially with Salah's price
