Chelsea

That lot. From about 1987 onwards they’ve enjoyed a bit of a hold over us. They like nothing more than doing us in. Even when they won the champions league for the first time in 2012, first thing they did was chant “are you watching Tottenham?" as they knew their win stopped us qualifying.
They’ve stopped a few unbeaten runs of ours, a recent one under Poch. Numerous cup semi finals, a couple of cup finals too (although we did them in 2008). And of course there was the battle of Stamford Bridge in 2016 when they were like men possessed to ensure Leicester won the league.
Back in the late 80s and the 90s, we were better but they seemed to have the Indian sign over us, we didn’t beat them for 16 years i think between 1990 and 2006!
Make no mistake- tomorrow is a tough game. Poch return, they will be hell bent on ending our run at the top. It’s Chelsea.
If Ange can turn this history around against this particular opponent- I will really start to believe he’s the man to take us places

They are 13th for a reason. They are not very good. Spurs are in the top two, because they are very good.

Spurs 3-0.

It will all click for them very soon, too many good players, just hopefully not tomorrow, table means nothing at this stage of the season

I think you'll win but a draw wouldn't be the biggest surprise. This is Chelsea's cup final these days.

You beat them at home in February.

Spurs should be winning this unfortunately. Chelsea played well against us at SB, raised their game, but still only scored because of a debatable penalty and a complete fluke. Spurs should have enough to beat them at home.

They way we play will suit them because they like playing teams who come out which is why they did well against you and Liverpool. If we’d been playing the shiiite we played last season tomorrow, then I’d say it was a nailed on Spurs win. I think we’ll win but I think it will be a close game.

2-1 Spurs

Make no mistake Chelsea will click soon.

However we should never be losing at home to anybody so we need to make some noise tomorrow and make it intimidating.

We need to win to add more distance now that pool, villa and arsenal dropped points.

Why do you think they will click soon? They have not clicked for over 18 months now? Nothing in their form over that time suggests they will ever click. A very average side, with lots of expensive players.

Cup final these days, I don't think so. Important to us, yes but that's nothing new or unique to these days, it's been that way for years and will be so for many more. I guess the only other team that is comparable for many Chelsea fans wanting to beat is Liverpool, strangely in the past 3 years our games against them have ended in draws, all 1 - 1 I believe. Some Chelsea fans have other teams they prefer to beat, personally for me it's whoever we play next that's most important to beat (or more recently, not to lose to).

I'm visiting family in the states and they don't watch football so don't have the channels for the game so I'm likely to miss it I can only hope we can give you a better game than we did last season at your place, we were very poor that day, if you played better you could have slaughtered us. I'm expecting a better game today but expectations aren't always met.
