Why do Spurs lose their heads so easily?
Udogie should have been sent off with Spurs well on top, very lucky to get away with it.
Romero loses his head and kicks out, should be sent off but the VAR obviously had bigger plans for him.
Romero then fulfils his destiny and tries to break his countrymates leg.
From looking like winning this by a few, ill-discipline has let Chelsea back in it.
Surprised by the red though. After Mark Clattenburg admitted he had a pre-match plan to not send any Spurs player off in the "battle of the Bridge" and Mike Dean admitting he failed to tell the ref to send Romero off for a blatant act of aggression against Cucarellato help his mate Anthony Taylor, I was beginning to think these lot had a similar plan. Finally a ref has the balls to deal with the thuggery and the most protected team in English football.
Spurs against Chelsea...

Great weekend for City. Do they run away with it now?

Probably. They always were going to, tbh.

Mad that they’re getting universal praise in the media for losing 4-1. Any other team would be criticised for losing their heads under pressure and being naive. Media still having one big ange love in. He’s done well with spurs so far of course, but not sure why that warrants full praise after a 4-1 defeat. Do they just hold spurs to much lower standard, or just because they like that ange says mate a lot? I’d be pretty pîśsed if my team had 2 players sent off and got thrashed by a pretty mediocre team

They are basically getting praise for their ill-discipline and Chelseas awfulness.

They're the new hipsters' choice.

I think they have long been the hipsters choice. And the refs choice.

Yeah it’s weird. When Xhaka or whoever got sent off for us it was always we’re too emotional, we’ve bottled it we’re immature/naive etc. which on some occasions was correct criticism, but spurs who basically displayed all those things are getting praised. Could understand if they were really dodgy decisions. But you could see their heads had gone before they got sendings off. Romero and udogie were lucky not to be sent off earlier in the game.
But I’m all for their praise, they’ll think they’ve done something good and keep repeating the same mistakes
