Of fixtures man city are top of the pile. And I thought they were meant to be on a bad run
The chasing pack need to some how stick with city but there is a risk city could run away with it after January. I think their closest rivals this season is arsenal but they don't look as consistent or seem to be playing consistently well.
So although the prem has some great games, like yesterday's, look like we are a farmers league with city likely winning a 4th title on the spin!
So after that carnage of this round

Think Liverpool will be the closest challengers this year unless they suffer loads of injuries.
City are pretty inevitable though, they'll likely improve as the season progresses.
While I'd put Liverpool as favourites for second, Arsenal, possibly Spurs and Newcastle could all end up in the hunt for second.

I dont think Spurs have played that well, best i seen them play was vs Arsenal. I think Utd are extremely fortunate to be on 18 points. I think we've done extremely well to navigate 24 what with a new mf and the red cards etc. Arsenal havent been playing that well either. Can't say ive watched much of City, they must have played a lot of 3pms vs lesser teams, and i find their style a bit boring a lot of the time.

Unbelievable the advantages that can be gleaned from just a brief decade of cheating?

Next 4 games
City - Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Villa
Spurs - Wolves, Villa, City, West Ham
Liverpool - Brentford, City, Fulham, Sheff Utd
Arsenal - Burnley, Brentford, Wolves, Luton
Pressure is on 3rd and 4th in those, cant afford to drop more silly points, and a real chance for City to strike some blows.

City are winning the pl again ....they haven't even done their usual Xmas 14 game winning streak ...I'm just glad Liverpool got a Premier league title a few years because city have the resources for the next 5 to 10 years...
As far as spurs ..I was delighted they lost..but kicking it because we dropped stupid points against Luton...
I personally think we will finish 3rd or 4th ...

It’s always been a 1 horse race, despite what Liverpool or Arsenal fans might say.
City are miles in front.
The CL picture will become more congested now in my opinion.

It will be 6 out of 7 for City. Not just 4 in a row. Not even Fergie's United managed that level of dominance.

They are the best team in the world currently, no one else in England will lay a glove on them this season.
You hope at some point Pep gets bored or actually challenges himself for once - even going back to Barca right now would and trying to win it all with them would be a notable challenge given their financial predicament. However I suspect the on “project” in world football that might turn his head is getting PSG over the CL line

City miles ahead of the rest but then no splitting Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and United below that. All of which will make the top 4 this season anyway because more than likely 5th place gets top 4 this season.

Nobody takes them seriously though. People just want them to win because they know they'll eventually get done for breaking the rules
