Not a Ten Hag out article per se…

.. as I’m sure he’s probably gonna have at least until Christmas but it’s a sign of how far our standards have fallen that a guy who’s overseen 9 losses by early November is still seemingly safe in his job.

Is that because of the uncertainty over the running of the club up above? Or just a general apathy to payout another manager a huge amount of money?

They could also give Ten Hag a year under their stewardship to turn things round

——————-

I have a feeling we’re about to thrash someone. It’s surely around the corner.

Luton are facking awful so we may see that sooner rather than later
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or we get dicked and end up shelling out £70m on Marvelous Nakamba in January
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Luton are not beating us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, the way we scraped past Fulham only strengthens my belief that we’ll steamroll them

Joking aside, we simply can’t lose to Luton, I’d genuinely fear for Erik if we did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Fear for him. He is definitely gone if Luton beat us (which I don’t see happening)

Dont t see it, copenhagen are better than luton. Might be a laborious struggle but we’ll win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
May be a struggle but...what if we take our chances? What if the confidence comes flooding back? Have you considered these things?

I like your thinking!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think we were going to thrash the Danes last night up until the Red Card. The best we had played all season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same here. I think we would have too. We were catching them on the break all game long. What was worrying though was the way we allowed them into the game straight after the red.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That was down to ETH. You have to react to a Red Card straight away. There was too long to wait until half time. Eriksen should have been subbed for Amrabat as soon as Rashford was leaving the pitch.

We really should have got ourselves organised better once we went down to 10 men. Other teams can do it! See Liverpool with nine men v Spurs!

It's the most devastating moment in a young mans life, when he quite reasonably says to himself, "We shall never thrash The Danes!" It is at that moment that all ambition ceases to exist.

Manchester United, the world's most loyal football club.

Bayern, Real Madrid, City - teams we want to have the same sporting success as - would have gotten rid of him a long time ago. The results speak for themselves.

On another side? What makes us United? Well.. Ferguson has a large part of the credit for the success we've had and he wouldn't have been (read sacked) there if we had followed the principles of other clubs.

It's ETH's responsibility now to ensure the players build on the positive aspects of last night's performance, rather than getting discouraged by the turn of events. We'll see how they do.

I don't think he would do.

I expect we will win this weekend though and he lives to fight another day.
