I was hoping for a more aye bit... kinda bite

I'd like a season in the CL groups with a good team and all of our best players fit so i can really judge it before i'm all on board with the I prefer being in the Europa shout.

We're more pragmatic than Celtic in European football, they do themselves a disservice by playing the same brand of football they do at home and expecting anything other than misery. They continue to do it though but someone will figure it out after Rodgers and reap the rewards of doing the blindingly obvious.

At our Europa Level peak performances we would be in with a chance of second if the group draw was handy.

But that's a lot of ifs.
Us being our recent best
Good group
Everyone fit.

Won't write it off until i see that and us still getting humbled.

Should have scudded them, always pleasing to see a team so at sea they need a huddle 20mins in to get a grip of themselves.

I thought we wasted too many chances but the overall play was good. If Danilo can become more clinical we will become much better.

Lammers still stealing a living, I'd love to have Hagi back in there in this team. Both move like they are running in treacle so may as well have the one that can create at will when he's on form.

Clement has succeeded in bringing the feel good factor back, hopefully we can take 3 points v Livingston and enjoy the international break.

Lammers was decent off the ball last night to be fair, showed good energy in the press and picked up quite a few spare balls in the midfield. in an attacking sense however he was useless again. Id rather have someone better out wide than have Hagi back .... if we do that we can move Cantwell into that central position where he will be much more effective.

Agree with that, Lammers was good off the ball and didn’t think he was bad at all last night although hasn’t offered as much as some others.

Also agree with Cantwell being central, I think if Wright was fit he’d have started which I’d hope would be for Lammers. Great to see Lawrence back too, showed good experience at the end, would have him over Hagi. Issue with Matondo coming back is he’s done well on the left, where Sima has been brilliant. Not sure who’s move to right, I’d rather Lawrence/Cantwell centre and right similar to how it looked to be shaping up with Lawrence/Tilman.

I was going to do something with the ‘20 year old fans versus the eleven year old club kind’ of angle but my heart wasn’t really in it. And I don’t want to become predictable.

Some good reflections on last night Gers. Clement has clearly made an impact, but from the limited games I have seen this Gers team can only sustain his high intensity route 1 football for 20-40mins. They then either physically tire and/or revert to bad habits.

Not sure about Cantwell central. I think him and his magic dancing mittens need to be closer to the TV cameras?
