With his return being talked about for the upcoming weeks, we're bound to be excited given his numbers from his time in Germany and his goal scoring exploits in pre season. Pre season I thought he would be nailed on to play as number 10, but with the form of palmer and him effectively making us tick, where do we see nkunku being deployed when he finally returns. Given jacksons up and down start to life with us it wouldn't supise me to see him up top

We saw him in pre season play on the left. I think he’ll play there.
Nkunku___Jackson___Sterling
Palmer and Gallagher will be fighting for a spot in midfield next to Enzo and Caicedo.

Against the teams that play a low block against us, I would like to see a front four:
Jackson
Sterling Nkunku Palmer.
Probably bring Gallagher back for the games in which we'll have to defend a bit more.
There's also the fact that Jackson is going on AFCON duty so Nkunku could play up top during his absence

If anyone's place is in question it's Gallagher....The one that actually plays as the middleman.
Nkunku is on a different stratosphere, capable of executing anything and everything to a higher to a higher standard than every other attacker on the books (including Palmer) the missing link between midfield and attack, monumentual waste of ability and time deploying him up top.
Support striker Nkunku facilitating play in final third and attacking the box from deep + dovetailing with Jackson or occasionally Broja acting as the focal point is the way to go.
That being said, maybe it will be Sterling that loses his place seeing as Nkunku started on the left, before getting injured on pre-season Chukwuemeka played in the middle of the front 4 that day
