Not What I Would Do!

Just seen the line up and he has done the exact opposite of what I hoped.

Wanted Bents, Phillips and Gill with Kulu playing 10.

We'll see why he is a Prem Manager and I am not.

Play a high line and I fear we will get done time and time again today

Absolutely

We hated that Conte wouldn't change tactics to suit players and circumstances. Hoping beyond hope we don't go down the same rabbit hole.

Still, judging before we see at the moment.

Fingers crossed

If he is fit enough to come on when we have 9 men, he is fit enough to start.

One is not OK if the other is not.

bentancur is just back from an 8 month injury and isn't ready to start. I imagine it was from ideal him playing 40 minutes against Chelsea on Monday.

Bryan too has been out for months with injury and has only had a 2 minute cameo

think it would have been very harsh to chuck an 18 year old right into the deepend with only 1 other starting defender alongside him

I can't help but agree with your points logically.

But I see the way we have gone as death by 1000 cuts. We either throw it all against the wall or we don't.

Hojberg has still looked like a donkey in a thoroughbred race when he has come on. Slowing everything down and he can't help himself but go backwards.

Diet did OK in a lost cause on Monday, but you can't play someone as slow or slower than him next to him with a high line.

He has picked an 11, we don't know how they are going to play. The tactics could surprise us.

So the players I highlighted let us down.

It isn't hindsight when you don't ignore the bleeding obvious.
