That quick free kick he took was just....*chefs kiss*
Took me back to the Conte days seeing him and Dier starting today. Zero composure.

He moves like he is stuck in treacle, he`s never been mobile enough or good enough technically. He can`t get around the pitch to play an intensive pressing game.
He wanted a move but a deal could not be agreed, probably due to Levy`s demands, so he is still here as a square peg in a round hole.
Levy out.

Both Dier and PEH are very slow, and they allowed every player go past them -- specially Dier
It's like Dier is on a mission to sabotage Ange ball?
On top of that, Gil and Lo Celso add nothing to this team.
Most remarkable is Sonny. Had 2 chances to shoot and mat have scored on one of them, but refused to shoot?
We did look devoid of any attacking flare.
Meanwhile simple diagonal balls caught our full back napping.

Dier has been with us since 2014!! We could have put him on the 'to leave' list around 2019ish but he's still here and still regularly starting ffs! He's survived 5 managers and at the rate he's assisting our capitulation he may end up surviving 6.

To be fair, the chairman is a tight stingy one so he kept some of these players who are unlikely to ask for more money, and are there which means club doesn't need to buy to replace them
Levy only looks at balance sheet and not on whether the players are good enough anymore or not.
I guess Dier, Davies, Lloris, etc are getting paid so why should the leave, unless the contract has expired and the club hasn't offered them new ones.
It is all down to the top level management driven by Levy.
We are going to nose dive now, as we don't have quality in depth. Other clubs bemoan their lack of quality in depth should take a look at Spurs.
With this average players we are relying on, expect us to nose dive.
Dr Tottenham is back now with Dier, PEH, Davies being back

The signs were there when Poch had started edging Dier out of the team in his final years. Might have even wanted him moved on as part of his rebuild but Levy didn't want that rebuild or Poch anymore and instead we got Jose, who was a Dier fan. It's probably what led to his career being prolonged. That should have been his last chance when he failed under Jose. Can't believe he is here 3 years later.
Not like we stand to lose much on him either. What was he, only £4m? There was a point where you'd say it's been money well spent. I'm not even sure if you can say the damage him being around is causing at the moment has justified the value and his worth to Spurs for the entirety of his stint here.
