Years and Years

Did anyone catch it when it was on BBC1 back in 2019 (those halcyon years before the world changed in 2020)?

Written by Russell T Davies and is a fictional look at the landscape of the UK politically and socially as the 2020’s progress into the 2030’s. The reason I bring it up is how prescient it was and how it reads less like a made up TV show and more like a documentary made in the 2040’s of how the world was in the preceding 20 years.

Anyway, check it out if you haven’t seen it. I just rewatched it and my jaw dropped at the Suella and march to fascism comparisons.
