His output levels are a fact though. You also don’t understand that his role has changed this season, he has more emphasis on providing, he looks to play others in far more than he ever has.

I think Salah is a better footballer now, far more complete. Regardless he'll still post silly numbers and score about 30 goals so saying he has regressed is just a soundbite and is pretty meaningless in the here and now.

so haaland had 13 goals and 3 assists making him the top contributor in the Premier league after 12 games.

however salah has 10 goals and 4 assists so yeah huge regression there clearly.

people confuse a yard of pace with ability. just he's "slower" but not slowing down one jot in the important stats.
