Every time he played at 9 this season we played better football. He links so much better than Eddie, much more intelligent than Eddie. Our best games this season were with Jesus or Trossard as a 9. So happy we ended up with Trossard and not Mudryk. In many aspects he reminds me of Cazorla, not just by his ability, but also how reliable and consistent he is whenever and wherever he plays

He isn't amazing there but yeah I think preferable to Eddie.
In the tough away games it should be Havertz there like he was in the community shield, and anything else GJ then Trossard.

Yeah agree. We need Toney or someone like that, but for now I think this is the way

I didn't think we played that well Saturday - especially in comparison to a similar home game recently against Sheffield United. Pretty sure Nketiah also started up front in our second biggest win, away to Bournemouth.
We didn't play at all well at home to Fulham and Trossard was removed at half time at 0-1. Nketiah came on and played a big part in us going 2-1 up.
We were also awful away to Lens with Trossard and Jesus.
Until Trossard starts up front against a better team away it seems a weak argument to use Saturdays game tbh. So far the basis of the claim is pretty damn easy home games against Sevilla and Burnley.

Worrying if arteta starts dropping havertz for actually good players. Trossard is class. And think he will improve if given even more game time.
Arsenal done well to be so close to the top (although not playing well) with the havertz experiment. With him out the team I can see you pushing city right to the end.
Good luck.

Havertz shouldn’t be starting any games, he was rubbish again on Saturday.
I was so hoping that Arteta knew something we didn’t & Havertz’s atrocious Chelsea performances were because of the way he was being used - but no, a third of the season over & the man still offers nothing…

I would like to see us try Trossard as an attacking midfielder if Odegaard is still out. I don't know if he ever played in that position at Brighton.
