With the news that Richard Arnold is leaving, could it pave a path for the eventual return of Mason Greenwood? I would imagine before the end of the season, a new full time CEO will be appointed who will look at everything (in relation to Greenwood) with a fresh set of eyes.
We must remember after all; Richard Arnold was the man who made the decision to part ways with Mason, however, could a new CEO potentially review that decision and bring him back? He is only out on loan and is contracted until 2025, so surely a new decision will have to be made on him?
With Sir Jim Ratcliffe's local ties to United, you have to wonder if there will be a certain fondness from his side of things towards Mason. He's an academy product, so certainly it could be a quick win for Sir Jim to bring back a top level academy lad. The class of '92 and all that...
