deduction, should they go into administration.
The 9 point deduction would be a consequence of the club going into administration due to the compensation claims by Leicester, Leeds & Burnley, who are each looking for 100m, if they are successful.
As it has shown in all recent examples of clubs going into administration the likelihood of such a point deduction is very high.
Another 9 point deduction this season would put them in 20th place at -5 points. But imo in this league considering the competitive levels of Burnley,Sheffield Utd & Luton i think that they could recover an 11 point gap required to get above the relegation places.
The appeal against the 10 point deduction does carry more significance, they may in fact get it dropped by 3 points or so ? which would be a huge help to them.
The issue becomes, will this matter be concluded this season, or will they be forced to commit to a lengthy appeal process, questioning the Original 10 point deduction, the validity of the compensation claims?
This one is going keep rolling as the consequences are so significant , the club will want to spread the risk.
This case will be a clear indicator to all clubs that are proven to have breached FFP rules that there are real consequences.
Everton face a further possible 9 point

U1137,
This article which is my own personal understanding, written in my own words, it is part of a series i have been posting regarding the difficulties that Everton football face and the possible future implications to all EPL clubs, including my own Cfc.
The article has not been cut and pasted from a news media publication verbatim, nor has it been literally word for word interpreted from any source.
As Silver has commented, the JA 606 forum is built on the members willingness to engage, develop and be informed by the memberships contributions across the whole forum. Merging content is the life blood of this forum
This is something i would have thought you would be well aware of considering you have a member of the forum since it's inception- BBC JA - 606.
I hope this helps
