Yep, particularly with Guehi on the books at the time...same profile as Fofana and objectively on the same level.
(I'd argue Guehi is marginally better due to his comfortability of building out of the back with both feet).

Fofana transfer is comparable to splurging 80m+ on Toney 28...with a history of (managing) chronic back pain, suffering from underlying scoliosis condition (which can flare up into serious movement limitations at any moment, ticking time-bomb).
Doesn't make any logical sense to take the gamble on that. Inconceivable.

I doubt we'll sign Toney. Seems very out of place with the ownerships remit on transfers.
