Bolton Wanderers v Exeter City

The international break is thankfully over and a league double header with Oxford away to follow on Tuesday before cup fa cup against Harrogate next Saturday and EFL Trophy against port vale in the week following. Bolton are in red hot form and have won the last 7 to put them 3rd and one point off top. Exeter are in freefall. After 6 games they were top of league one. Ten games and just 4 points later they are one point above the drop zone. Team news. Johnston is still out, Ashworth seems to be struggling with an injury, Dempsey is back in training but unlikely to be involved and Forrester is available after missing Stockport away. No new injuries reported so looking stronger than ever this season. Likely starting 11. Baxter. Jones Santos Toal. Dacres-cogley Maghoma Sheehan Thomason Williams. Adeboyejo Charles. Cold one. Kick off 3pm.

Ex loan player Wildshutt is coming on for Exeter.

I have a disparaging nickname for him which I can't say on a family forum such as this one.

I think we all get it.

Sorry to be absent but I got back just in time but my friend over the road invited me to watch the game with him and his good wife.

A great game with the eventual goal fest that we have been waiting for, for some time. Matters on the pitch seem to have improved immensely but we have two harder games away against Oxford and Portsmouth.

We are the inform team and although I don't think it will be easy, we can win both games if we carry our recent form and desire into both of those games.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday evening, although I will have one eye on Master Chef, my nephew's son Tom has made it through to the semi-final. The other eye will be on the game at Oxford.

Isn't that typical, I turn my back for five minutes and not only do I miss a feast of goals. Everything else fell into place to leave us top.
Can we stay top until the man in red has been down the chimney?

Rest assured there's trouble for more than one person come Monday morning.

I've just checked through the stats, out of 24 shots, 10 were on target. Do we still need to improve there?

No bookings! I had to double check that one across several sites. I'm still having trouble computing a short corner working.

The improvement since craddock moved up to first team coach is incredible.

Pasty, perhaps you should miss a few more games, we might get more goal fests.

Thanks for posting the highlights link, I will savour the goals again. It isn't every day we score seven.

Benny, I never thought about the change in trainers but if Craddock can keep them playing as well as they have been, we have little or nothing to worry about.

We can test all theories tonight. Silly me had this bright idea of wrapping up in London by tonight and making a dash to Oxford.
It's not to be, I will be absent again tonight.

It's going to be touch and go, to see if I can make it up North for going to the FA Cup match.

I'm sorry to hear that Pasty. You will need to keep up to speed with the goals etc on your mobile.

Let's just hope that we can keep up the winning run and keep the clean sheet tally ticking along.

I'm putting my sick note in. Working late and if im dropping a colleague off its going to be well past 8 when I get home. At least I'm not on call like during the Stockport game . That was a silly night.
