Loved the guy

He was spurs manager when I was a kid. Genuinely thought we would win stuff with him in charge and we did. Back then the fa cup was almost as big a deal as winning the league. No manager since has matched this feat.

Another one or two seem to go every month. The worrying thing is that I remember most of these guys playing and, having only recently started getting my state pension, I want to live long enough for some decent payback.
Talented player and manager, that rare beast.
