I couldn`t be more prouder of Spurs

today. Yes they got mugged again, after dominating the game with so many nailed on first teamers out, then that thug Cash puts Bentancur out of the game, when Spurs were absolutely dominating. An unprecedented amount of injuries and suspensions have temporily stalled the season, but come January when hopefully the full squad should be back up and running, a few teams are going to take some hammerings off Spurs. Surely the finishing will improve by then.

Spurs dominated today, in all but the actually scoreline, and if Sonny could stay onside, Spurs would have surely won. No matter, it will be difficult this side of Xmas, but we can all see what great football Spurs are playing under Ange, so short term may be a bit painful, but long term it is looking as promising as it has ever done.

Add some more players January and in the Summer, and Spurs will be a real force next season. As for this season, a concerted effort has to surely be made now on going for the FA Cup.

Not down at all. it is what it is, and if Spurs can stay with nine points of 4th, they may still make up the points in the New Year with a full squad to pick from.

Marks out of 10

Vicario 7
Porro 8
Emerson 7
Davies 6
Udogie 9
Bentancur 8 (first half)
Lo Celso 8
Gil 7
Johnson 6
Son 4
Kulu 8

Keep the faith.

Tottenham have just set a league record today.

3 straight losses to opponents who had to come from behind to win.

90 minutes of relentless Postecoglou-ball is impossible to maintain. Every manager has realised that you only need to sit tight and soak up the pressure for the first 15-20 minutes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not actually true.

Leicester set that record a few seasons ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I stand corrected. But it's still a troubling record to have.

Why? Millions of teams have kost three games in a row. Whether leading or not is irrelevant. Just another Sky silly stat.

If we had our full first team playing I’d agree

As we have half of them out I’m not worried in the slightest

Spurs dominated practically the whole match. And with several of the regulars playing would have won comfortably.

I will comment when I've seen the match.
But from what you all who have seen the match are saying....

"we should have won, we should have had it put away by half-time, Bentancur was injured on purpose by Cash, and Gil should have had a penalty."

I conclude that having Romero on the field we would have won.

Agreed

Why do spurs fans on here think they are the only team with injuries? Villa have more

Villa have two. Spurs have 11.

So by my maths Spurs have considerably more.

No Villa have five injuries, but the important thing is four of the starting 11 are injured which given the comparable limited budget has a much greater impact than spurs injuries

Spurs have eleven injuries who by all accounts on here during the summer, are mostly dross

Newcastle have 13 injuries and we have 10

All teams have injuries, only spurs fans on here are making excuses and claiming they'd be top without them
